Are you driven by seeing your ideas come to life? Welcome to our exciting and technology-intensive world.

Your Role

You will be part of a team working with advanced maintenance of radar systems. We handle everything from antennas and microwave technology to high voltage and complex measurements. The work encompasses both complete units and details at the component level, including replacing electronic components on circuit boards. The work spans several different technical areas such as analog, digital, software, microwave technology, and measurement technology.

As part of our team, you will work with digital, electrical, and RF testing of devices and subsystems, as well as conducting tests at both board and unit levels. You will troubleshoot and repair products, develop and maintain systems, and analyze and interpret specifications. Parts of the work are done in measurement rigs, but manual measurements and connections also occur. The instruments used range from universal instruments to network analyzers.

An important part of the role is to actively work with drawings and documentation in both Swedish and English, where you will be responsible for document management and deviation handling according to applicable processes. You will also contribute to the development and support of maintenance resources for radar equipment, including both hardware and software.

Your Profile

We are looking for an experienced engineer in RF, microwave, and measurement technology. You have a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, or have obtained equivalent experience through your career. You have worked with high voltage, microwave, and measurement technology or similar, with a background in electronics.

To succeed in this role, you need to have a strong drive, a positive attitude, and a solution-oriented approach. You are a flexible and structured person with a natural ability to communicate and collaborate. We are looking for someone who enjoys analyzing and solving technical challenges while working carefully and methodically.

We value a genuine technical interest as well as perseverance and accuracy in your work. If you also have experience in programming in C++, it is an advantage. Meritorious qualifications include experience in measurement technology, aircraft maintenance at the system or component level, work within the armed forces, and project management or participation in technical development projects.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, involve requirements for certain citizenship.
